Former Golden Eaglets captain, Musa Muhammed, says the prospect of playing in Europe’s top competitions lured him to join Bosnian club FK Sarajevo, PUNCH Sports Extra reports. The 25-year-old defender Wednesday signed a two-year deal with the Bosnian topflight club as a free agent. “I have signed a two-year deal with the option of plus one with FK Sarajevo, which is a very big club here in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Muhammed, who captained Nigeria to their fourth U-17 World Cup title in 2013, said. “The president of FK Sarajevo (Ismir Mirvic) wants to change things positively and bring the club back to where they belong after missing the league title in the past few seasons and I’m happy to be part of this dream. “I’m here because the club has great plans of returning to Europe.
