And she got smacked down in her performance review for doing exactly that. Of course, the problem started long before that performance review. With this push, I re-phrased the question: Think beyond the obvious — what do you really want inclusive leadership to solve for? It needed an inclusive leadership approach that broke down silos and traditional ways of thinking and allowed people redefine the rules. They needed to see that inclusive leadership is about maximizing organizational and people potential.
