I spent Sunday and Monday visiting Whole Foods stores in Ann Arbor, then comparing Whole Foods' prices, old and new, to those I found at the places where I usually shop. The most attention-getting price cut is on Whole Foods' rotisserie chicken. I'm only an occasional Whole Foods shopper, so I was surprised to discover on Sunday that Whole Foods actually has been selling an organic rotisserie chicken for $13.99. Moving on to produce, on Sunday, I spotted Haas avocados at one of the Ann Arbor Whole Foods on Sunday for $1.69 each. So, as the placard on the rotisserie chicken says, there is indeed "More to Come" from the Amazon-Whole Foods marriage.
