But so far, Warren’s direct address of K-12 education consists of a promise to appoint a secretary of education who has been a teacher in a public school. So why can’t we just assume that she’ll be a defender of K-12 public education? It is entirely possible that Warren’s position on K-12 public education is highly nuanced or perhaps evolving. I emailed the campaign to offer the chance to clarify or elaborate on their K-12 public education policy; they did not reply. It is hard to believe that she doesn’t have a plan for K-12 public education.
