Rosado’s software, which helps companies build their own applications, was, by his own admission, 13 years ahead of its time. “We had a fundamental vision that the way that companies were building software was wrong,” says Rosado. Rosado plans to use the large funding round to invest in customer success and product as well as the new staff. Without patient investors and employees, OutSystems would’ve shuttered last decade, its CEO says. They might look to learn from his business’ success while tackling a problem that’s a little closer to having its moment.
