Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha has written to the President Abdul Hamid asking a month-long leave from October 3 to November 1 due to his ailment. In the application, the chief justice wrote: “Sir, this is for your kind information that, I have been suffering from various physical complications for the last couple of days. The leave issue of the chief justice came to the surface on October 2. Attorney General Mahbubey Alam said the chief justice has taken the leave maintaining all the due measures. However, BNP alleged the chief justice was forced to go on leave.
