I was invited to attend a songwriting workshop by the Filipino Society of Composers and Songwriters (FILSCAP) two weekends ago in Subic. I was also a bit scared that these young people I was working with would find my ideas trite or passé. We were focused on writing great songs without having an attitude of personal ownership. Congrats to the songwriters, FILSCAP and everyone who was part of Master Camp. Expect all of this to translate into great songs and music you will hopefully hear soon.
