Today it was just announced that the Equifax security data leak may have touched 2.5 million more American consumers than previously reported. (@Equifax) October 2, 2017Equifax had announced earlier it had experienced a criminal security breach that captured important information belonging to some 143 million Americans and made them vulnerable to potentially devastating identity theft and other fraud. The stolen information included names, addresses, Social Security numbers and dates of birth and, in some cases, driver’s license numbers, credit card and credit dispute information.
