The Santiago Bernabeu has been named the best stadium in the world. The La Liga juggernaut passed Manchester United as the most valuable football brand this week and snatched the award for best stadium too, with Old Trafford fifth in the list of arenas. According to Brand Finance, Los Blancos are worth an estimated £1.4bn, with the Red Devils priced up at £1.2bn ahead of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City. Tottenham Hotspur's new £1bn stadium was named as the best football ground in the UK, sitting fourth in the full list between Bayern's arena and Old Trafford in the rankings. The Camp Nou enters the list at sixth, while Champions League semi-finalists Ajax see their home, the Johan Cruyff Arena, named the seventh-best in the world.
