I’m about to embark on the final stages of bringing my illustrated biography of Leonardo da Vinci to completion. Donovan Bixley​ ONZM is an author, illustrator – and sometime musician and actor – based in Taupō. He has created or co-created about 120 books, the most recent of which, The Great Kiwi Bedtime Book, is out now. A te reo version, Ki Te Moe Aotearoa, translated by Darryn Joseph, is also available.
