Even with the group on its way to New York following the Chicago shows, fans continued to swarm a jam packed downtown pop up shop on State Street for a full week. The BTS New York pop up is in place now in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood and will remain open through Monday. Radio used to drive those numbers but the young BTS fans at Soldier Field were quick to single out YouTube as their initial form of exposure to the group. The Lightsticks were on sale at Soldier Field for $55 each. As this weekend’s BTS shows in New Jersey will undoubtedly be, previous nights in Chicago and Los Angeles were destination concerts which saw fans travelling from across the country to attend.
