LEAVENWORTH 9:30 p.m. on Starz. This new five-part true-crime series explores some of the same military themes the “Serial” podcast examined in its Bowe Bergdahl investigation. It follows the life of Clint Lorance, a former Army lieutenant who ordered his men to fire at three Afghans while in Afghanistan in 2012. Lorance is now serving a 19-year murder sentence at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas and trying to navigate the military justice system in an attempt to overturn his conviction. But with Krystal’s new love interest, Cody, onto her ruse, it’s not clear if his allegiance to the organization will hinder her attempt to expose it for what it is.
