As a fourth-year student at Western, I feel its communication — which is arrogant and strategic-lacking — is misguided and destroying student trust. I saw Western professors on Twitter calling for concerned students to contact them. But I didn’t see Western take the initiative to get its messages clearly across the mass student population. Western, stop touting your 99 per cent vaccination rate on campus and instead take some time to talk to your students.
