West End streets blocked as police probe Winnipeg homicide


A homicide is being investigated in the West End, where what was initially called a serious incident has closed Ellice Avenue near Empress Street. Police officers scan the road and sidewalk around the entrance to the parking lot at Ellice Avenue and Empress Street. Jaime (Jimboy) Adao, 17, died on March 3 when he was attacked during a home invasion at his family's house on McGee Street in the West End.
