West Bromwich Albion boss Carlos Corberan has named his starting XI for the first game of the Championship season up at Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park this Saturday. The Spaniard has been running the rule over his squad in pre-season, from St George's Park right through to the string of friendly matches that Albion have played out against EFL opposition. Jeremy Sarmiento, one of two new Albion signings this summer, has travelled and is on the bench. Jed Wallace, who is the club's new captain after the departures of Dara O'Shea and Jake Livermore in the summer, lines up behind Brandon Thomas-Asante and is joined by Matt Phillips in attack.
