Wellington musicians took to their garages, gardens and front porches to entertain their neighbours under Level 4, as part of a worldwide event called Play Music On The Porch Day. Wellington musicians were out on their decks and in their garages and gardens on Saturday, as part of an international movement to bring music to the streets. International Play Music On The Porch Day encourages musicians to step outside and entertain their neighbours – this year Kiwi musicians did so in a socially-distanced fashion. For this gig, he opened with a song he’d written himself, called “Get Yourself The Jab”. The industry was doing it hard, and this event was good to raise the spirits, and keep musicians in practice.
