(File photo)A senior lawyer's falsifying of a trust deed has ended up costing him more than $500,000, as well as the right to work as a lawyer for six months. The tribunal said the result was a fraudulent document not signed by the people concerned at the time the document said. The tribunal suspended Morrison for six months. Morrison had an unblemished record and his seven character referees included a former Supreme Court judge and a retired High Court judge. The tribunal had made its decision in November 2018, but Morrison filed an appeal to the High Court.
