That has prompted a warning from Regional Public Health to local schools about the dangers of contracting the illness. Nesdale said the best way to prevent getting measles is by having two doses of the measles vaccine, known as MMR, one month apart. One child, a teen and an adult have all been treated for English measles after their holiday last month.
