Dylan Fox has played his last game for Wellington Phoenix. The 24-year-old centre-back, who is currently sidelined with a season-ending injury, has left the A-League club to pursue other opportunities. A brief statement released by the Phoenix on Wednesday said Fox's contract has been mutually terminated, effective immediately. "Wellington Phoenix would like to thank Dylan for his contributions and wish him all the best for his future endeavours," the statement read. Already preparing for Fox's long-term absence due to injury, the Phoenix last week promoted Gianni Stensness from the reserves team to fill the void.
