Wellington Phoenix will press ahead with plans to sign a new import striker after last season’s top goal-scorer Tomer Hemed informed the club he would not be re-signing. However, the club confirmed on Saturday afternoon that Hemed would be moving on following the expiration of his initial one-year contract after they were unable to come to an agreement on a new deal.
