Wellington Airport evacuated, now reopenedTOMMY LIVINGSTON/FAIRFAX NZ A fire truck arrives at Wellington Airport. An airport spokesman said no flights were cancelled but it may have caused some minor delays during the 20-minute period the terminal was evacuated. Wellington Airport's main terminal was evacuated after a sprinkler was knocked signalling the fire alarm. Fire and police attended the incident on Sunday, about 6.30pm, while commuters waited outside the terminal. People have now returned to terminal to resume their journeys.
