Girl missing in Wainuiomata Hills foundNZ POLICE Police released this photo of the girl missing near Wainuiomata or Eastbourne in Lower Hutt. The 15-year-old girl and her dog who were missing in the Wainuiomata hills have been found. The unnamed girl had entered the bush on Sunday and was believed to be lost between Wainuiomata and Eastbourne in Lower Hutt. Police would like to thank Land SAR volunteers and members of the public who provided information. She was last heard from about 2pm, when she called on her cellphone to say she was lost.
