When I was reading and selecting the shortlist and winner of the 2016 Royal Society Insight Investment Book Prize, I was impressed by the remarkable quality of all the books on our shortlist -- and by at least as many more that did not make it onto the shortlist -- and the same is true for this year's £30,000 ($36,606.70) Wellcome Book Prize shortlist.
