Donald Trump, upon catching wind of the video, promptly tweeted about the “failing” Snoop. The President suggests that if former President Obama was the victim of Snoop’s fake shooting, then the rapper would be facing jail time. The suggestion that Snoop deserves jail time would only be valid if it can be proven that Snoop is inciting violence. One could look at Snoop’s video and say the overarching violence combined with his lyrics are borderline inflammatory. Snoop Dogg told Billboard that he wasn’t “looking for a reaction” with the video, but wanted to address what he sees as serious issues.
