PETALING JAYA: Work matters took a backseat as Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong posted on social media wishing his Singaporean counterpart a speedy recovery from an illness. The outgoing Singapore Transport Minister, Khaw Boon Wan, was reportedly hospitalised due to dengue fever on Thursday. Dr Wee thanked Khaw for the efforts he had put in so that both countries could finally conclude the agreement for the Rapid Transit System (RTS) link project by the end of this month. I look forward to meeting you on the Causeway during the RTS link signing ceremony on the 30th!” he wrote on his Facebook account. After 42 years, I would not expect to exit the stage in bed as a patient!” Khaw wrote, accompanied by a picture of himself in hospital.
