KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) has hit back at DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang for insinuating that Barisan Nasional parties could not get 30% voter turnout in any of their elections. "I'm not interested to know why their voter turnout (at the DAP special congress) was only 54%. He said that other Barisan parties, such as Umno and MIC, have also in the past recorded high voter turnout. "Never in history have these parties recorded 30% voter turnout. Lim issued a statement on Monday to justify the 54% voter turnout at the DAP special congress to pick the party's 20 central executive committee (CEC) members on Sunday.
