The former MP for Tema West Constituency, answering a question when she appeared before the Appointments Committee, on what she will do to prevent the frustration MPs go through in accessing their common fund said, she will collaborate with parliament to make sure that the problem is solved. Some MPs have over the years blamed the lack of development in their respective regions to delays in release of their common fund. Some MPs have in the past blamed MCEs for deliberately frustrating the release of their funds for no apparent reasons. She further pledged to woe investors into communities that are viable for business and will encourage MPs to help develop their own constituencies and communities.
