General News of Friday, 13 April 2018Source: happyghana.comWe will file complaint against Mahama - Spio Fan ClubThe group has warned that it will oppose John Mahama should he contest the NDC flag bearershipThe National Coordinator of the Spio Fan Club has served notice that it will file a complaint against the former President John Dramani Mahama for secretly using the party’s unity walk platform to project himself and to campaign for his second presidential slot on the ticket of the main opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC). According to Kofi Ahema, the group will file the complaint if the former president takes the decision to finally contest the presidential slot for the 2020 presidential elections. He stressed that what will prevent the group from filing a complaint against the former president will be if he does not contest the NDC presidential election slated for later this year. He called for a level playing field in the party ahead of the presidential race of the party. The party must be fair to preserve the unity the party is enjoying to enable it wrest power from the president Nana Akufo-Addo’s and his governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) he argued.
