Some residents of communities surrounding the Jaji Military Cantonment on Thursday lamented the activities of bandits in the area. Some of the residents told our correspondents on the telephone that they no longer sleep or go to the farm. Danmasanin said, “On a daily basis bandits would abduct no fewer than 16 villagers and we continued to pay ransom to free them. “We no longer sleep in our houses. How do we sleep when we are being tormented on a daily basis by bandits?
