A READER has complained that two abandoned cars — a van and an MPV — at a parking lot on Jalan Pahat M 15/M, Section 15 in Shah Alam has been left abandoned for the past month and is becoming an eyesore. Kamaruddin Hassan said he had lodged a report with the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) and the council had placed a notice on both cars on Aug 16. “The abandoned cars deprive those who conduct business in the area of much-needed parking space,” he said. He said the council’s enforcement unit had been alerted and would monitor cars abandoned by the roadside. “After we receive the report from the police, the council will tow the cars to the workshop,” he added.
