Led by national chairperson Gladys Wanga, the party leaders said ODM is still an Opposition party. Mombasa Governor Abdullwamad Sherrif Nassir expressed confidence that ODM will form the next government. “We will form the government in 2027 but as of now, ODM is an opposition party and we are not in government,” he said. On Wednesday, Wanga said ODM will field candidates in all positions in the next-generation elections.
