On the latest episode of American Ninja Warrior, athlete Reko Rivera showed us you could be both. Videos of Rivera practicing in-costume went viral earlier this year, and it was clearly worth the hype. As a kid, life often seemed to boil down to one crucial question: Dinosaurs or ninjas? Dressed up in a Tyrannosaurus Rex costume, the athlete took on the world’s most extreme obstacle course with frightening agility as he jumped, swung and climbed his way into the hearts of millions. Win or lose, he proved that you can still teach new tricks to a 65-million-year-old dog.
