Finance Minister AMA Muhith is presenting the supplementary budget for the 2016-17 fiscal year and the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal. This will be the “last complete budget” of the incumbent Awami League-led government, he told parliament on Thursday. The proposed budget’s volume is expected to be around Tk4,00,000 crore. It is believed that the revenue target will be proposed at Tk2,87,991 crore.
