Dhaka Metropolitan Police or DMP spokesperson Md Masudur Rahman told bdnews24.com that the arrest was made late Wednesday from the capital's Mirpur area. He said the man has been identified as 46-year-old Alauddin alias Ala, but did not provide any details. "We have seized nine pistols, a locally-made hand gun, magazines and some ammunition from him," said Deputy Commissioner Rahman of the DMP's media wing.
