Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru appears to be the latest casualty, as she loses in the just-concluded nominations for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) in the Laikipia East constituency. Last month, Waruguru picked a fight with Deddy whom she accused of perpetuating politics of intimidation and harassment. Last November, Waruguru officially announced her future political plans by joining UDA and was officially received weeks later by Deputy President William Ruto. United Democratic Alliance (UDA) nominations took place on Thursday in various sections of the country in Kenya. Unlike ODM which uses the party register for nominations, UDA uses the IEBC register.
