The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Electoral and Nomination Dispute Resolution Committee released rules and procedures that primaries losers will follow to file complaints. In the document, UDA noted applicants will pay Ksh500,000 for disputes involving the presidential nominations while those challenging the gubernatorial nominations will part with Ksh200,000. Baringo Central constituency UDA primaries and tallying were conducted at Kabarnet High School on Thursday, April 14, 2022 UDAComplaints on the senatorial ticket will be heard after the complainant pays Ksh100,000. Largely, the UDA nominations exercise was seamless but in some parts of the country, the process was marred with chaos with aspirants disputing the whole process and the outcomes. Even before the party primaries started, a number of aspirants expressed fears that they would be rigged out.
