Warning signs flashing as HK report two local cases with unknown source and over 20 preliminary positive cases


Health officials warned that Hong Kong might experience a “rapid and big rebound”, with two local infections with untraceable source and over 20 preliminary positive cases reported in the city today. The Centre for Health Protection said as of 12am today, it has recorded 12 additional confirmed coronavirus cases – eight imported and four local – bringing the tally to 5,492 cases. Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan of the Centre for Health Protection said the two local infections with untraceable source include a 75-year-old female merchant who lives on Stubbs Road, Eastern Mid-levels. Chuang said the woman had been to Starlight Dance Club in Wan Chai between 3pm to 5pm on November 14. Another local patient with unknown infection source is a 65-year-old retired woman who lives in Tower 2, The Long Beach in Tai Kok Tsui.
