Chinese snack and beverage maker Want Want China (0151) reported a 20.9 percent growth in net profit to 1.95 billion yuan (HK$2.3 billion) for six months ended September. Revenue grew by 10.7 percent to 10.3 billion yuan. Revenue from the rice crackers segment was up by 9.4 percent to 1.99 billion yuan. Revenue from the dairy products and beverages segment and increased by 7.4 to 5.32 billion yuan. Snack foods segment grew by 17.7 percent to 2.95 billion yuan.
