Class suspension orders from health officials on upper respiratory tract infections in students, is confusing, the head of a group of schools says. Aided Primary School Heads Association, honorary chairman, Cheung Yung-pong, said some sick students had been reported in his school a day before the class suspension recommendation by health officials and he was left wondering what needs to be done. The Centre for Health Protection has recommended that primary and secondary schools be closed for a week if at least three students in a class are reported sick within four days. Earlier, classoom instruction was suspended in kindergartens and day care centers until November 27 due to common colds. He said officials should have informed schools directly about the change, that he said was confusing and hard to follow.
