"I’m aware it’s happened on the Mediterranean roasting vegetables where an Aldi product has been used in Waitrose stores," he said. The pair, who asked to remain anonymous, discovered the Aldi sticker on food that arrived from Waitrose as part of their weekly Ocado shop. Aldi's sells Ready to Roast Winter Roast/Mediterranean Roast vegetables for £1.29, and its version is the same weight as the £2 "Vibrant and Colourful" Waitrose product. When the couple complained to Ocado they were told: "I am sorry to hear that the Waitrose Mediterranean Roast Vegetables received were packed for Aldi.
