PHOTO: CRAIG BAXTERA house in Waikouaiti was "well ablaze" when firefighters arrived this morning. A Fire Service spokesman said five crews from four stations - Waitati, Palmerston, Waikouaiti and Willowbank - were called to the property in Geelong St from 7.25am. The single-level dwelling was "well ablaze" when the first crew arrived but has been put out, he said. No-one was injured. A police spokeswoman said officers attended, but the fire was not being treated as suspicious.
