World Food Programme executive director David Beasley is in isolation after testing positive for coronavirus. Beasley has resorted to collaborate with colleagues to trace back anyone who had contact with him when he was unaware of his infection. He intends to continue working throughout the period of self-isolation in his home in South Carolina. Globally, at least 246,773 people have tested positive for the virus which has already claimed 10,062 lives. Thirty six African countries has recorded at least 750 confirmed cases of infection with 21 fatalities in eight countries.
