Nyong’o names himself health executive in latest county reshuffleKisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o () has today shocked Kenyans in the latest reshuffle in his county government by appointing himself acting health county executive. In a statement dated March 20, Governor Nyong’o announced new changes but named himself as one of the new executive pending a substantive appointment. "In the meantime, the Department of Health and Sanitation shall be managed by the governor himself before the appointment of a substantive a county executive member," the statement reads in part. After replacing the outgoing health executive Rosemary Obara in in May last year, newly appointed business and marketing executive Judith Miguda was expected to be confirmed but that was not to be as Miguda was handed a new docket. Also named in the reshuffle include Joyce Osogo named to head roads, transport and public works.
