Modern Coast bus services has suspended its operations for buses going to Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda. The Managing Director in a statement said the suspension is based on the directives given by the government with regards to travel to the said countries. The company said the suspension was effective from March 19 and will remain in place until further notice. According to the company, operations of its buses within the country will however continue normally or as will be guided by the government. It further read, "At Modern Coast, the safety and well being of our passengers and staff remains our paramount focus during this period".
