Ex-governor Mruttu donates water and sanitiser to boda boda crewsFormer Taita Taveta Governor John Mruttu () has joined efforts to combat spread of coronavirus in the region. In his preventive measure against the respiratory disease, the former governor donated several jerricans of water and sanitisers to boda boda operators in Voi, Mwatate, Wundanyi and Taveta. Speaking to the press in Voi town when he donated 70-litre jerricans to be used by the boda boda riders and customers, Mruttu said the war against the disease must be fought by all. Mruttu said he will go round the county to talk to residents on preventive measures against covid-19 spread. Deputy Governor Majala Mlagui said Public Health officials are working with local administrators to educate the public on covid-19 preventive measures.
