The agreement enables Volvo Cars to concentrate on development of its all-electric vehicles. The other half will come from gas-electric hybrids and internal combustion engine models supplied by this new business with Geely. Volvo Cars will start production next year of its first battery-only car, a version of its XC40 compact crossover.
