Vodafone Egypt on Sunday announced that it will provide free international calling minutes to several Arab nations. The initiative aims to support customers attempting to contact family and friends across the Middle East as regional tensions continue to escalate. Three-day waiverThe service provider confirmed that subscribers will have access to free international minutes for three days. The regulator instructed all mobile operators within the Egyptian market to provide a baseline of five free international minutes per subscriber for calls to the same six nations. The agency added that it remains in constant coordination with telecom providers to monitor regional developments and implement further support measures as needed.
