The sands of Tahunanui Beach have become a large canvas for one imaginative artist. Sue Norman spent several hours on Tuesday afternoon creating a large circular artwork known as a mandala on the shore. "For an artist it is wonderful to be able to create on a large canvas," she said. She said the beaches in Nelson were the best she had created mandalas on, with snow capped mountains in the background.
