This Monday, major pharma firm Roche announced that virtual reality (VR) cognitive training developers Virtuleap are joining its lineup of start-ups creating immersive solutions to battle Alzheimers and Dementia. Virtuleap is joining Roche’s ‘Building Together Tomorrow’ program to improve the quality of life of individuals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Healthcare professionals will integrate Virtuleap’s Enhance VR library into wellness procedures, which offers 15 cognitive VR training applications for patients. Roche is conducting tests with Remote Control by Virtuleap, a telehealth feature which improves remote communication between at-home patients and dispersed careers. Virutleap Cognitive TrainingVirtuleap combines VR immersive technology features with neuroscientific research to address various cognitive disorders, such as traumatic brain injuries, ADHD, and dementia.
