About 500 cars converged on McLeans Island on Sunday for the first annual Daffodil Rally for Cancer, raising more than $6000 for the Canterbury West Coast division of the Cancer Society. Cancer Society Canterbury West Coast division chairwoman Kate Reid, who also took part in the event, said she was absolutely delighted at the turnout.
